In inglese, quando si parla delle condizioni meteorologiche, bisogna utilizzare gli aggettivi appropriati, come ad esempio “sunny”, “cloudy”, “foggy” ecc.: C'era il sole, it was sunny. Non è corretto tradurre letteralmente la costruzione italiana dicendo: there was (the) sun.
